At the center for mechanics and control, we specialize in the design and development of autonomous ground air and water vehicles. Our faculty have successfully performed in six major UAV flight testing programs, for a variety of AFRL, NASA, and private corporations (collaborating with the Flight Mechanics Laboratory and Flight Simulation Laboratory). Our autonomous ground vehicle research is aimed at developing the technology for use in varied applications, from search and resue operations to multiple spacecraft proximity operation simulations.
